The Best Free Food on Airplanes

Flying isn’t always pleasant. Especially when you have to fly in coach. Luckily, some airlines still offer free snacks to flyers, even on short flights. You are probably wondering how free snacks on an airplane are any good. Well these treats happen to be amazing and are even worth eating when not flying.

Southwest is always one of the cheapest options when it comes to flying. But even though they are still pretty cheap, they serve up some delicious honey-roasted peanuts to all flyers. You can’t really go wrong with peanuts, but something about Southwest’s peanuts taste extra delicious. Maybe it is because they are free or maybe it is because they are such a nice surprise when flying in coach.

You wouldn’t think that Delta’s Biscoff cookies are any good. They don’t look like much and aren’t even appealing. These cookies have the Delta logo on them and are surprisingly not short of flavor. They have this sweet, caramel-like flavor and are crunchy. Another great thing about these cookies is they are vegan. A lot of flight attendants are even nice enough to give you two packs.

JetBlue’s Terra Blues potato chips

JetBlue has always been known for their iconic Terra Blues potato chips and I am so happy that they are still around. Back in the early days before they stared making smaller bags of the blue chips, larger bags were given to passengers. These days, passengers are given individual-sized bags, but there are still plenty of chips to satisfy you. Even on short flights, JetBlue is happy to give out the chips.
